Hi all, first my condolenses to Rose's family and loved one's. I have not been around very long but in reading about her we all lost a great person and lyme advocate. My prayers are with her.
I have been herxing over the last couple days while taking flagyl (3 times per day for about 3 weeks). I was not taking anything else in that period. The only thing I changed was on Sunday I started drinking 1 ounce mangosteen juice per day.
I do take probiotics, nystatin, and vitamin B-complex tablet as well. And ofcourse the much needed magnesium tablets.
I started herxing a couple days ago but yesterday I started on malarone so I know that drug was not the culprit. I believe the flagyl busted open some cyst forms. Anyway, my LLMD doc. usually tells me to stop the meds while herxing but should I stop the malarone since I know that's not the cause?
I just assume attack them while they are coming out.
Any thoughts?

I take my meds through a herx. I think different people do it different ways. Maybe give it a try to keep taking the Malarone and if it doesn't lighten the herx, then quit it, too.
But I'm no doctor ...

If you are taking 2 Malarone a day perhaps cut back to one until the herx is over. It might just make it harder to toss off the die off and toxins.
