Received first dose of Rocephin at 11:00 am this morning. Now experiencing sporadic episodes of symptoms more severe than normal, and a few new areas are now affected, although all are transient except for the fatigue which remains constant. Can anyone offer opinions please. Thanks,
Armand

Hold on tight, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

Rocephin is great, but it will start to clear up all the neuro stuff. As it does, it will cause biotoxins which will cause other transient problems.

Go at an appropriate pace. Listen to your body. My LLMD just wanted me to plow right through. I had to take breaks. Things gets kinda freaky with the neurolyme stuff.

I'm glad you are on it. It gave me a part of my life back.

Yay*)!*)!*)! Great news*)!)*!!

You are responsive!!! Sounds like you are Herxing!(*!(! If you had had no effect I would have been sad for you- !!!! I know you have been sick a long time and I hope your recovery is great- I am one of those people who has almost immediate Herxes myself- most people don't so quickly- but I do- although not with IV Rocephin or before I turned around- with that I was tx resistant- you are lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I had bad Herxes I always was grateful because I knew I would be getting THAT much recovery in return- ALSO- said to myself if it was bad, "The only way out is through!!"
Best wishes,
Sarah

I like rocephin but I feel like I have things in reverse-I feel better the four days I am on it, and then crash the three days I'm off.

My first dose of rocephin? I just remember having this nurse hovering around making sure I didn't have a reaction. I'm terrible at keeping track of symptoms-such a drag.

I'm always tired, overwhelming fatigue was already a problem. But six weeks into the rocephin, I've had some of my best days lately.
I still hurt physically, and I did have an increase in headaches-but they seem to have subsided for now-knock on wood [bonk]

It's the weekend now,so I'm not infusing(start again Monday)and I spend a lot of time in bed sleeping.

bottom line- I feel like I have sudge brain when I am not infusing. Truth-I don't know how I feel anymore. I just know i have an hour here and there when I feel normal.

Carol

Could be a good sign! My LLMD said my early herx meant that my prognosis was better than if not. I know our cases are all different, but thought I'd pass that along.
