Hi,
The latest from Rose's husband James is that he has had an ordeal of arranging for the transfer from PA to TX. As soon as he knows something more, he will pass along the info. James is a veteran (USMC, 14 years, with 28 months in RVN), and therefore Rose will be interred at the National Cemetery near them in TX.
James also mentioned that the heart, etc. showed damage commensurate with chronic Lyme, however the cause of death was ruled as bronchial pneumonia. Rose had chronic bronchitist every year since 1958, as well as "walking pneumonia" in recent years. Rose had written, "My Lyme disease odyssey actually began abruptly in the summer of 1958 during my first summer camping experience at a Camp Fire Girls camp in the southern California mountains. My health has steadily decreased since that time."
I'd like to ask that you please send your notes of love and condolences to Rose's family at the following addresses:
Mr. James Martin (Rose's husband) 501 Sycamore Lane #327 Euless, TX 76039
Ms. Amy Rose (Rose's daughter) 1025 B East Main St. Palmyra, PA 17078

The latest info from James...
** We finally received Rose back here today, and were able to finalize her rest.
We will be holding a visitation and viewing at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas on Sunday, April 29, 2000, from 5 - 7 PM.
The funeral procession will leave Bluebonnet Hills at 10 AM on Monday, April 30, 2007, with Rose being intered at the Dallas - Ft. Worth National Cemetary at 11 AM. This National Cemetary is the regional equivalent of Arlington National Cemetary at D.C. Rose was very proud of my Marine Corps service, and desired taking advantage of the spouse of a veteran being eligible for interment. When my time comes, we will be together again.
Please pass the word again, please. There are just so many people in the online Lyme community that know Rose - using the group lists is the only way to reach a majority of them.

On behalf of the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation we offer our condolences. Another rock in the lyme family lost. If we could all pass on with such a legacy lyme would not be what it is today.
