Hi-
I just got home from my Lyme doc visit.

I have been pretty sick lately and he thinks I

would feel a lot better to go to this place for a

week, go through its program, and then begin a

change in meds when i return.
I have had lyme and babs for 5 years but it went

untreated for over 2 years. its been extremely bad

lately... i am on biaxin, clyndamyacin, I.M.shots

daily w/ rocephin, and the tonic water(it works in Large doses:)just to name a few!
***and a lot of stress***

I went online to see their program, it looks interesting, and they do mention Lyme disease.
the name is,
Conscious Living Alternatives, located in reno,

nevada.

Has anyone been there and what did they experience?

I would go through the whole protocal of detoxing,

and all the fancy names i cant think of to say,

but go along with lyme disease and babesia. I

don't have the money and would have to borrow it

from my parents if they can. Under 2k for one week including all.

please let me know your thoughts...

thank you-

curby

yes, it looks like the same (Dr. R) place but not as detailed. the one in reno seems to offer extensive treatment on naturopathic procedures and alternative medicine.
I have never done anything like this and wondered how much these procedures help.
I would list some of there procedures but the list is unending!
thanks

Sounds like a terrific opportunity. I'd love to go spend a few weeks at a place like that.

A cheeper alternative is to find a good naturopath who can walk you through detoxing, candida cleansing, and immune system building while you sleep at home.

Its harder, but possible, to do this stuff yourself, while still trying to manage your life.

bejoy-
my problem is that i cannot manage at all. in fact my days are spent in a lot of pain, in bed. i have been to ER 4 times since last oct. from lyme complications.
this would be a "hope" that any place would be better than where i am!

I am not sure that i will even be able to borrow the money,

but i wondered if these procedures have helped anyone here on the lyme-net.

thank you for your input...

I am assuming that Dr. H. suggested it.

I actually have an appointment for there on Wednesday. I have had Lyme's for three years now, and have been on treatment for six months. Lyme's and Babesia. I have not had any improvement during treatment.

Dr. H. suggested I go there. I will let you know what I think when I return. I am excited to hear what they have to say, as I would love to detox my body and try more natural treatments. Given that my LLMD is closing one of his offices, I think the timing is right. I guess when some doors close, others will open.

My focus right now is on my immune system. I feel that this is the key component to my wellness. I think with herbal treatment and allergy testing, I might be in a better place than I am now.
