For my recent diagnosis of Lyme, my PCP had both blood and synovial fluid tested at Imugen in Massachusetts, not at IGenX. My tests came back unequivocally positive, and I'm now being treated by an LLMD. Is it o.k. that I had my tests done at a lab other than IGenX?

The next tests--for co-infections and other things-- are scheduled to be done at Nichols Lab. Anyone know about that lab?

Coinfections often [I say always] need to be treated even if the test comes back negative.

I saw the subject matter...process of dx...and thought of a spouff (sp?)

Glad you tested positive and were able to see a LLMD right away.
