I had an MRI of the brain done last week-no lesions-but my doctor's office wants me to come in and discuss doing some further testing. They detected vasculitis.
Has anyone else been told they have this? I assume it is from borrelia (inflammation of the blood vessels).
thanks,
Diana

My husband has vasculitis. Don't know whether it is in his brain and he hasn't had any scans done there.

Hi, My doctor dxed me with vasculitis based on redness on the palms of my hands with some white spots or something like that. He said it is another thing that Lyme causes and that it is inflammation of the blood vessels.

I was told I have a circulatory problem like vasculitis and I have to take something like vascullin for it.
He detected it using a biomeridian machine.

When my c-reactive protein test came back very high, the doc diagnosed me with vasculities.
This is a horrible symptom. It took a long time to get those numbers down, but with aggressive babs, bart and lyme treatment my blood work finally came back normal.
