I tried Rocephin, Claforan and Primaxin before I found that IV Doxy was right for me.
It helped me tremendously.
I was on it for almost three months.
Right now I am about 85% better. I've been off ABX for almost two months.
And hoping to post my 'Success Story' soon. Not quite ready yet....I want to make sure there are no relapses coming.
Be sure to watch your sun exposure, the sensitivity on IV doxy is even worse than orals.

thanks. my llmd said to do the r for a couple more weeks to see if we can get more out of it. i was told the iv doxy is 2 times a day, out of a ball like my rocephin.

I infused 400 mg once a day (over two hours) and yes it came in a pressurized ball.
Easy to do, just took a long time.
Good luck!

Good luck- hope it works*)!!!! Anyone around here with an MS or ALS like presentation has been on Rocephin for 6+ months minimum (excepting one MS woman who did 1 months 3 separate times! kept relapsing- but made incredible improvements in one month! then ehr non-llmd doc would take her cold turkey off and she kept relapsing- did it 3 times!)!!!!!!!
Myself it did not take apparent effect until 7th month- I believe it was working before then- but that I could not see effects-!!
But who knows- IV Doxy could be the one for you- I hope so*)!*)! Best wishes, Sarah
