This topic deserves visibility since in affects all of us directly. I think we all realize too much of a good thing can be bad and the same applies to some of our treatments. So a little common sense is in order. We are trying to kill/poison a bacteria within our body, so if we over do it, it makes sense that we could hurt ourselfs in the process. Ketec and the related liver damage is a good example.
Long term use of certain antibiotics have been shown to increase the risk of cancer. For example: 1) fluoroquinolone antibiotics are carcinogenic in animals, 2)the antibiotic chloramphenicol is know carcinogen in humans, 3)in early 2004, a study published in the Journal of the American Medial Association (JAMA) found a statistical link between the use of some classes of antibiotics and breast cancer: Use of antibiotics is associated with increased risk of incident and fatal breast cancer. It cannot be determined from this study whether antibiotic use is causally related to breast cancer, or whether indication for use, overall weakened immune function, or other factors are pertinent underlying exposures.
That being said, wood dust is also a know carcinogen in humans. So I would take all of this with a little perspective.
Regarding rife treatments, there is no question that high energy fields within the EM spectrum can cause issues: cataracts in radar mintenance men, leukemia in mice from high strength radar fields ( ref: The Body Electric-Becker), Human cancers associated with exposure to 30-60 hertz electromagnetic field. ref:Colorado State Univ-1999. (of course, in the US our electric grid runs at 60 hertz). Also our bodies run on frequencies between 1 and 30 hertz (approx), so we don't want to use those either.
Fortunately Rife fields are usually only 25-80 gauss, which is not much more than a hair dryer. So probably rifing is not a big cancer risk as long as you use frequencies above 100 hertz. Said another way, EM Field strengths appear OK, but be careful of frequency - nothing under 100 hertz.
My point is none of our treatments- neither antibiotics or rife is probably very good for us in the long run. We have to pick our poison - "die" with Lyme or deal with the risks of long term antibiotics or Long term rife.

Excellent points made . Even if we leave lyme untreated , I suspect we are more vulnerable to cancer because our white ( defense) cells are inhabited by a parasite that weakens their effectiveness.
I am glad to hear that the rife is not that much different than a hair dryer . Thanks for sharing your thoughts here !

OK, so here I am hearing again that the spirochete lives in our white cells, is that known? It is so interesting!
