Has anyone successfully taken MORE than 1000 mg a day of Biaxin, and what else did you combine with it? What was the dosage? Results?

I am on biaxin (1000 mg/day), mepron(2 tsp/day) and omnicef (2 caps/day can't remeber the mg/ cap).

I have been on 1000mg Biaxin for about 6 months I started on Amoxi for the first 3 months then Biaxin was added to my Amoxi (total 9 months of treatment). It has been a miracle drug, I was sick as sick could be - the combo amazing. It is slow working, but you will notice progress over time. I have heard of many getting well on Biaxin combo's. My LLMD's want me change abx, but I refuse to give up the Biaxin - I will give up Amoxi, but never Biaxin..it has taken me from 2 good days per month to around 15-20 good days per month. I will probably add Doxy w/it next it looks like or Omnicef.
