You and I need to talk. The stretch marks are from Bartonella. How do I know this? I have the same marks you describe. They look like worms that are very close to the surface having a race because they are close together and are at different lengths. If your marks aren't red now, they will be soon. Its the progression of the marks, so don't be suprised when you see them change colors.
My stomach skin is ruined because I have had and still have these marks so bad that it looks like my skin has been burned. I also have them on my arms, hips, sides, etc.
It sucks!

S Forsgren, no..they do not look like those stretch marks, however, My friend has those type..(she's been long diag. with Chronic Lyme...
True Blue, nope..not like those, either..............
K-Lime..AHA..you have described them better than I ever could. WORMS..having a RACE. YES!!
they have not turned color yet, but at times they are more ...um.. RAISED? like a NEW TATTOO??
other times, they are flatter..but still RAISED..just not so much.
I am a hard core photographer (hobbyist) and will take some macro shots of my chest later..I'll upload them to PHOTOBUCKET..
oh..and those little red dots that everyone has mentioned? I HAVE THOSE, TOO..they come and GO.
only on my upper body, whats it called, THE TRUNK?
some on my back, some on my front..flat..except for ONE.
RED. always RED.
COME AND GO..right now I only have 6 that I could count.
I'll see if I can photograph some of the ones in front, 4 are on my back.
Bartonella, huh? well, it wouldn't surprise me...because......
is that the same thing as Cat Scratch??
I ask this because:
about 4 years ago, one of my cats was an outdoor cat. He also had FelV. he only went out to potty and came back in, didn't like staying outside...but didn't like the litter box, so he'd "ASK" to go out.
my point is, one night, there was a possum on our deck, it was 2 am and I heard 2 of my cats, (the outdoor one and one of my indoor ones)screeeaching and hissing.
I went to investigate. I saw them staring out the window..turned on the deck light and saw the possum.
Of course, I wanted to look at him, too..so i moved one of the cats out of the way.
apparetnly, my outdoor POTTY cat, was focusing on the possum and my movement caused him to ATTACK me..he scratched up my head but BAD.
BLOOD EVERY WHERE..
the next day my skin on my head was puffy and swollen and I went to my GP, who couldn't BELIEVE it only happend THE NIGHT BEFORE.
He ran some bloodwork, ...in house...and IMMEDIATELY put me on Antibiotics. I can't remmeber which one now.
he said what I had was a reaction to the bacteria of my cats nails..scientific name escapes me now...but said..CAT SCRATCH.
oh..and by that morning? i had a nasty fever..
man, this is unreal, I'm learning alot here.
::BOWS::
THANK YOU ALL.
