Whatever is plagueing me (as I am not fully convinced that it is lyme) has slowly added to my list of symptoms over a nine year time span. However, since I have started the use of abx (amox. and flagyl) about a 1 1/2 months ago, I have felt absolutely awful. I do not really recall a particular moment that I can refer to as a herx, so I am not sure if that is what is bothering me. It mainly has been extreme fatigue and weakness that has ailed me over the last few weeks, unlike anything I have experienced. Is this just a coincidence, or is it the medicine?

Sounds like a herx to me...

Strange disease that you have to feel worse before you feel better.

Hang in there.

The first couple months I couldn't tell the difference between herxing and not herxing because I felt so bad to begin with.

Sounds like you must be killing bugs!

My LLMD has me taking NT Factor and it's helping tremendously with the debilitating fatigue. You have to buy it through a doctor, but you can Google it to learn about it.

Why aren't you convinced it's Lyme?

Dittos on what was said above!

I herxed with severe fatigue, headaches, pain, feeling like a truck ran me over before I even got out of bed in the morning, the whole first 6 months!

It did get alot better for me, going on my 3rd year of abx. [Wink]

Hang in there [group hug]
