Hi
I am very new to this. I only found out last week that I infact
have LD and could have had this for as long as 25 years or even
more.

I am just trying to figure out a few things in my life that
didnt seem to add up. (besides my usual symptoms) This will
help me figure out how long I have had this. Or if indeed my
mother passed this to me?

I had many tick bites growing up and we never though anything about it.

1) I once had a mystery rash in highschool (aprox 1991) that
started on my head and within 2 hours covered my whole body
in huge whelps that changed shape every few minutes. It was the
worst itch I have ever experienced, and I had to go get a shot
from the dr.

I cant even remember what the shot was, but he
didnt have an answer to what the breakout was from. I know
that there is a rash with an infected tick bite, but have any of
you ever had this type?

2) I had tourettes as a child that subsided with age

3) Terrible problems with Eye mucos in the mornings as a child,
my mother would have to hold a hot rag over my eyes to break it
up, so I could open my eyes.

4) ADD from 1981 till now.

5) Migraines as a child

6) Terrible asthma and alergies as a child

7) Floaters as long as I can remember

I would like to know if anyone else ever had these condition
while diagnosed with LD.

Thanks for your time

I'm not doctor, but am a mom concerned about how many of my kids I unknowingly passed Lyme to. You have several of the same symptoms I've noticed in my own kids, at least the ones I suspect of having Lyme.

Of course we're all different and you have several things I haven't seen in them, and they have some you haven't mentioned, but I'd say most of what you have noted could have been caused by Lyme.

How's that for being vague? I'd say it would be good to discuss this with your LLMD at some point.

Just found the RASH POLE by treepatrol. This gave me alot more clarity about that mystery rash. I am convinced that it was from LD now.

Lymdnva, did your children pretty much come out of the womb with itchy rashes? I am beginning to formulate a thoery about my sister and her 11 year old as well.

So many things are coming into focus now. I am so thankful for this website.

I would also like to submit these other symptoms:

Horrible stomach pain. comes with no reason and is unexplained
Bells Palsy
Rhumetoid arthritis

Thanks for any reply.

Your changing rash sounds like hives. I've had hives and it is miserable and itchy. Ironically enough, honey causes me to break out in hives. LOL. God does have a sense of humor!

I get the stomach pain, too.
