I have tried starting on the babesia regimen and have been herxing badly. I have also been coughing a lot during the herx. Has anyone else had this problem? I thought it might be due to the fact that the babesia is in the blood and the lungs may be trying to get rid of the toxins.
I just got back from Mo. to see Dr. and he said to take it very slowly and keep on killing the little rascals. He even recommended tanning booth during the winter. My wife wasn't too crazy about that. Neither am I, I hope to go where there is real warm sun. (Hopeing to retire Jan. 1.)
I was off the clindamycin and quinine for 4 whole days with a herx. Tried 1 clindmyacin and 1 quinine last evening before going to Lambert" Cafe in Ozark City and by midnight herxing was back.

I don't cough with the babs ... but I was wondering about the tanning booth?
I have been reading about the importance of sunshine for our immune system and had been wondering whether tanning would help in the winter. I've never been one to try to tan, I just get some sunshine as much as I can because it makes me feel better. Usually I shoot for 15 minutes per day when it's nice out.
I've always been against tanning booths because of the skin cancer issue with the sun, but I was still wondering if it would help my health to use it in moderation.

I have a cough with Babesia, and I herx sometimes with coughing also. I have alot of air humger.
