The area where my "adam's apple" is feels tight and I feel swollen under my chin down until my throat. It feels tight, burning and hard from the inside. Anyone else get this? I have been treated for babesia, am currently doing this plus IV rocephin for LD. Any thoughts? -Nikki

nikki, since it's so late, how about calling 1 of your hospital's ERs and inquire since if it's that tight; might cause serious breathing problems or LACK OF IT. good luck.

I have had this sensation but it is related to significantly swollen

Lymph glands under my chin.

The pain has radiated up to my jaw at times and down to my shoulders at others.

I think, for me, it is part of a bart herx as I am currently taking rifampin.

I called my LLMD about it...

Maybe you should too as it could be an allergic reaction also.
