Saturday my right eye got very iririated and red. My thought was it's allergies since it's spirng.

Last year my eye doc gave me a prescription for Patanol which are allergy drops. I started using those and the redness cleared up but I still have pain and pressure in my eye even though my eye looks fine.

Do I go to the eye doc or is this another lyme symptom?

Lymetoo maybe it is lyme? Lyme causes every other problem why not this one? Sounds reasonable to me.

eye pain is nothing to screw around with.

lyme CAN effect our eyes; i suggest a eye specialist over a DO.

they can check for lyme, diabetes, measure eye pressure, etc. and make sure things are te way they should be for whati' worh.

best wishes; you also want tocheck our your floaters that we all have too! [Big Grin]

Bartonella and Babesia head for the eye(s). I had the pain!!!!!! It is most miserable. Mine cleared - can't tell you with what, because I did a thousand things/protocols/neural therapy into ganglia/KMT/you name it, all except abx.

Take care.

I'm off to the eye doctor today.

Betty what kind of doc do you recommend? When you say eye specialist what would there credentials be behind there name?

It could be an infection but it is acting strange. I did test positive for babesia so that could be the culprit.

Whenever anyone is having ANY problem they should always have it checked out by an MD because even if you have Lyme it does not exempt you from other physical problems!! Unfortunately!

That said, I got sharp stabbing ice pick eye pain over and over again for years before IV Rocephin!!! And Mepron- only once I was on Mepron did it finally go away!!!!!!!! It was Babs for me-

I have had right eye pain and redness for several years. I went to my Pc doc with my eye red and swollen, ear pain and off balance- I was asked If I had been taking any recreational drugs and if I had stuck something in my ear [Mad]

Needless to say I'm sure what was written in my folder was not very pleasent!!I switched docs.

I finally went to an eye doc who said it may be Iritis. I put a few eye drops (visine) in when it flairs but it usually only lasts for 2-3 days.
Take Care,
Ken
