Hi Eric, I've been on Omnicef off and on for a couple of years. I herxed at first, and think I remember a wired feeling at the beginning - not sure whether I attributed it specifically to Omnicef.
I find now that adding Omnicef to my regimen generally helps me feel better.

I take omniceft. I could not tell any change until last week (after two months) but now am feeling better. I definitly did not feel wired but I do think I got generally worse like I said until last week.
It did not cause me any odd feelings.

This is my 2nd month of being on Omnicef. At first things seemed ok, but for the past few weeks have been noticing respiratory issues. Getting air is a challenge and I feel like I can't relax - very worked up in the esophagus area too. I've also noticed more headaches than usual. It feels like my allergies have kicked into high gear.
It's tough to know if this is the medicine or typical Lyme symptoms.
I seem to do better when I stay at home because of lounging around. But as soon as I go out into the car, it's quite overwhelming for me - I just can't wait to get home.
