I was wondering how alcohol effects the mep and zith treatments.

My doctor said stay off it but didnt say why.

I dont notice any major difference except it makes my headaches a little worse.

If I'm remembering correctly, Dr. B says in his guidelines that alcohol and not enough sleep are two primary reasons Lyme patients don't get better.

Alcohol makes Lyme worse! It hinders your healing. It has sugar in it and it's also very acidic. IMHO if you drink alcohol you will not get better. Dr. B says three things that will make you unsuccessful in Lyme treatment:

1. use of alcohol
2. not getting enough rest
3. not following your protocol
