Hi TC,

I did the research on these folks and did the first test of questions and they said I would be a candidate, I called the next day and the lady took down loads of info, like the medicine I am presently taking, any surgeries within a year, if i have any of the hepatitis's, and several other things that I can not remember, darn my brain,

But I get another call today from someone else with a decline for my blood, I had surgery last 5 july, I take klonipin, and pain medicine.

Thats what it was, the klonipin, they will not take you if you are on any anti seizure meds, "may send you into a seizure, even if you do not have seizures".

It sounds good, but so many lymies are on pain meds of some sort, or they are taking the benzoes for the neurological damage done.

Good luck to anybody who can go thru this.

Thanks for the info Tinny,
Mary

hon, if you were trying to donate blood, DON'T DO IT.

people who have lyme and co-infections are banned.

at least that's what my doc said.

Company was trying to donate blood to that Lyme study. Apparently, they are being very picky about what they will accept.

suggestion 81,

do a search for tincup's post about buying blood, and put your answer on there since SHE initiated the post.

fyi, as of 1 am today, TINCUP WENT FISHING ON VACATION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! she won't see this; it will be buried by the times she "sneaks" a peak to see what is going on.

search is at the top,
