I've had neurolyme for years. I've tried everything to no avail. Right now I'm off all but supplements - just to detox. My LLMD said that next he would like to put me on IV meropenem ( its the only thing I haven't tried). I haven't heard of anyone who has tried it so if you are out there let me here from you. Thanks!

All I can add is that as my symptoms got much worse over this winter, and became very neuro-my llmd put me on Iv vancomycin. I lasted a month and had one trip to the ER...First herx ever and straight from he**. I think this drug and vanco are supposed to attack thru a diff. cell mechanism. I have a high load as well as havent been on continuous ABX trx. Since dx my llmd who is a ID doc, put me first on rocephin and i wasnt feeling nearly as bad then as i am now. After 3 months I neverherxed or felt no change, so he took me off. Months later we tried some orals-my gut wouldnt tolerate. And another set...same thing. Very strong orals and he never addressed yeast as possible cause...i had to learn about this on here. As well as detoxing, etc. I am not happy with him right now...Anyway since youre probably a pro...may wanna try it. I know with the vanco, i got symptom i never had before and they were really bad. But vanco is a strong drug and can be very harmful to the body-kidneys esp. Had to have bloodwork every week.
