All - I am thinking of getting a far infrared system. I have considered wood saunas and the more portable models.
Does anyone have experience to share with the Sunlight Solo or the BioMat? I realize the biomat is just a mat and the Solo has a dome with it. I would buy the solo with the solopad.
I used to have a far infrared heat mattress and I really liked being able to sleep on the heat if I wanted to. But, I also love the effect of a good hot sauna.
I'm having trouble making a decision. One neat thing about the portable solo, is that I could leave my arm out (currently have a PICC) if I choose to.
Any pearls of wisdom or knowledge about the products is appreciated.

I just got a biomat and love it, It helps tremendously with neuropathy, If i am feeling lousy i just put it on medium heat and have a nap,Bingo the pain is gone in 1/2 hour.I sleep all night on lower heat settings and always feel great when i get up. Sometimes the pain starts again within an hour but at a lower level that i can tolerate for at least 12 hrs.Negative ions and far infrared are powerful healers for me.

I got a sunlightsaunas and is the best thing that I have done.I spended $$$ on treatment and this one is a life time investment.

I love my biomat! Its relaxing and energizing at the same time.
They both help with detoxification and circulation. You can definitely keep your arm off the biomat as well.
Is there any way you can try them before buying? I'm thinking of bringing my mat (its portable) to the Lyme Action Program.

I just tried my SIL Biomat, and she has a dome purchased seperatly. I want to get them. They helped considerably with pain. It was amazing. My daughter used it for hip pain, I used it for low back pain and the pain was relieved within hours. I AM DEAD SERIOUS.
The particular biomat she has, is filled with amythyst crystals which are supposed to increace FIR something like 200X.
I am a believer and will be purchasing them both as soon as I can afford it.

i have the bio mat too and love. i usually wind up with my kids and husband squished up against me trying to get a piece of the heating action!
