Anyone been treated with zithro and metronidazole for babs?

I have been on antibiotics for 1 1/2 years for lyme, bart, and HGE.

I have been on several different combinations of antibiotics, but the last 6 months has been this zithro 500 per day and metro 1000 per day.

In the very begining I tested postive for babs, (WA1), but my antibiotics were started first.

I have never been treated for babs, as I tested negitive several months into lyme treatment.

My most recent lab work (which I had to arm wrestle for) is positive again for babs WA1.

My doctor won't call me back. I have not been able to reach him since this new lab work. My next appointment is not for another month.

He said last visit that IF it was babs as well as lyme, this above combination should help with that, and that we would re-evaluate after new lab work.

What do ya think?

Yes, it is a treatment out here on the West Coast for babesia.
