Hello Lyme friends. I haven't been on for a week. I missed reading all of the posts. I was going through some of them..and boy..I have missed alot.

Anyway, I have a bunch of questions to ask but I am too tired tonight. Vactioned with family for past week..I pretended I felt well so they could enjoy themselves.

I have a quick questions for now. For the last 4 days I have had this really annoying twitching on the lower part of my eye, right below lashes. It is barely noticable to anyone..but it is driving me crazy. It happens all day long.

What the heck is this? I have had a really crappy 2 weeks since coming off the Rocephin. I think I am madly herxing. Starting new meds tommorow.

Anyone with just eye twitches alone or am I more of a weirdo than I thought?

I had significant eye twitching before being diagnosed with Lyme and after initial treatment.

In fact I still get it occasionally.

Drives me crazy.

I have also had the eye twitching and yes, it's very annoying. I had for a long time before being diagnosed with lyme and I still get it on and off.

You are not alone, hang in there.

Hi kit,

I had lots of eye twitching before finally getting diagnosed with lyme -- it is very annoying. It is those little fine muscles around the eye, twitching non-stop.

Happy to say that it has gone away about 90%+ now, after 10 months of abx treatment. Hope it goes away for you too! Take care.

Thanks everyone. I guess it must be pretty common.

It seems rather petty to me that I am complaining about this one. Please forgive me for that. It is just really really annoying.

It`s a nerve "thing". I think everybody has that sometimes, even otherwise healthy people.
Make sure you have enough Magnesium. I take MAG TAB SR, which is usually not on the shelf, but has to be specially ordered by the pharmacy. 84mg/2x2 per day is what Dr. B. recommends. It costs around $25 for 100 pills at WAL MART.
A good quality Vit. B-complex is also important. I use Jarrow`s "B-right", because it`s yeast free. Oftentimes there is yeast in Vit. B, so watch out. This I buy online.
