I have been on Doxy for 11 days with no relief...My only symptom is crushing fatigue. So far, it's still crushing. Anyone have any ideas when this will pass?

How long have you had Lyme disease?

Did you see the tick that got you?

I think I herxed the first 30 days on doxy.

I didn't start feeling any better until the end of my second month.

I am not sure, but believe I have had Lyme and co-infections for over 4 years before being diagnosed.

Hang in there. Drink tons of good water.

Take your supplements and probiotics.

Hugs,

Geneal

I have had Lyme since the beginning of May (we think) and I herxed for about 10 days after starting doxy. I then herxed (we think) for another 3 days after starting amox in addition to doxy. I have a feeling it depends on your body, how long you have had Lyme, and what drugs you are taking.

How long you have had Lyme will affect when you will herx. Typically the longer you have had Lyme, the longer it takes to herx! Also what does of doxy are you on? I was on 200 mg for a month and did not herx or see any sign of improvement. My doctor told me that 1/3 of spirochetes have resistance to doxycycline so it does not work for some people. Is your doctor a LLMD?
