Sounds like you are pretty prepared.

If you can, take someone with you.

It helps to have someone else who can remember the huge amount of info.

That you are usually presented with.

I am glad you are going tomorrow.

I remember my first visit to my LLMD. I was so excited and sick.

Excited to finally be getting the "right" treatment.

Hugs,

Geneal

Yes, if you have a portable tape recorder some Lymies find it useful to bring one to every appointment since recollection can be a problem!
Be sure to ask Doc if doc minds if you run it to help you remember instructions. If memory is not an issue, nevermind*)!*)!

I hope it goes well*)!*)!!
Best wishes,
Sarah

Congrats on seeing a LLMD! You do sound like you are pretty prepared. My LLMD also suggested that I think of specific questions to ask him before my visit so you might want to do that. My doctor's nurse wrote down everything on paper for me so that I would remember there instructions so I did not need a tape recorder. I also found that everybody in the office was very considerate of Lyme symptoms. Good luck!

I suggest putting your symptoms in a timeline and including in the timeline as much of a medical history as you can remember.

Many LLMD's look beyond Lyme to see if there are other infections or triggers that are adding to your condition. For example, a history of bronchial infections may suggest a chronic chlamydia pneumoniae infection that worsens your ability to fight the Lyme.

Best of luck Jaime!

I like the tape recorder idea. It is so easy later on to confuse what was said.
