my eye doc said MAYBE part of my problem is my shampoo getting into my eyes and lymies are notorious for having cosmetic allergies and all. he said to switch products as i was using a tea tree oil shampoo and he said that's pretty harsh stuff, try something natural.
i don't know a dang thing about shampoos, except the kind you buy at wallie world and the hairdresser's.
so what can ya'll recommend about a natural, hypoallergic shampoo for lymies. i need something that if i get it in my eyes, it won't cause problems.

I have problems with soap and shampoos and generally any product "natural" or otherwise with fragrance. My kids also suffer from eczema, so we have to be careful. Not even Cetaphil soap works for us.
I buy my soaps from SappoHill Soapworks in Ashland, OR -- the soaps are glycerin with hardly any other ingredients. Discovered their soap at a B&B in Taos, NM!
I can use the soap on my face. I cannot use sun-tan lotion or any moisturizers on my face at all. I get real teary-eyed with stinging throughout the day. Thus, I stay in the shade and wear big hats and sunglasses. Fragrance-free NO-AD suntan lotion is okay on my body, but not my face.
I use Trader Joe's fragrance free shampoos. I rotate brands to keep my scalp guessing.
Hypoallergenic is not always fragrance free; beware.

I've always loved Nature's Gate. I've tried many "natural" shampoos, but always come back to this one. Makes my hair feel great, too.
There are different formulations. If you do a search for the brand, there are many places to order it online. Otherwise, Whole Foods carries it.

There is a chemical in some shampoos that we aren't "sure" about...the first link suggests a safer shampoo. The 2nd link discusses the chemical.

Good advice above. I always try to stay with the natural shampoos
-- I completely recommend anything by Aubrey Organics. They are a great company (and I am not affiliated with them!), they research all their chemicals and use only natural products. There are lots of potentially harmful chemicals in typical commercial shampoos.
