I have a terrible headache today. I haven't had a headache in a while which is actually new since I've been on antibiotics (before medicine, I had headaches quite often - usually every day or every other day).
but when you have headaches, do you take tylenol or headache medicine even if it was near to taking your antibiotics?
I'm just afraid to take them around the same time. But this headache is terrible and I need to take something for it.
Thanks for all your help!

I've been having constant headaches lately....I usually take excederin migrane medicine.... maybe wait an hour or so after your abx. (I'm not a doc, so I don't knw for sure about interactions), I'm sure you could call docs office and ask....

Why are you afraid to take them at the same time?? I'm sure I've done that hundreds of times as I used to have terrible migraines.
Well, actually, I didnt' usually take tylenol or ibuprofen for them....I took Imitrex or something similar.
I hope it goes away ASAP!!!!

I don't believe there is any known interaction of ibuprofen or aceteminephin or asprin with antibiotics....
Usually you have to worry about over the counter pain killers when you're taking chronic or accute pain killers like oxycontin or
oxycodone because they already have a dose of one or the other included in the mixture with morphine or another opiate....
Now will it annoy your tummy tum tum....probably....but heck...if you're doing MEPRON or flagyl stuff....your stomach is probably already annoid! Sorry!
