Does anyone know if protien supplements help kill the lyme disease? I heard this was a way to kill the lyme disease from someone who was watching Sylvia Brown on Montel and was wondering how much truth there was to it. Can anyone shed some light on this for me??????

Sylvia is constantly saying that Fibromyalgia can be brought into remission with a high protein diet.
If that were true I would have been cured, since I stuck to a high protein diet for many months, even though it made me so sick I could hardly walk to the mailbox. I am now back to being a lacto-vegetarian, and I feel much, much better. I do not think the same diet works for everyone.
What she said would apply to Lyme only if you believe that all Fibromyalgia is Lyme. (I do think this is true in most cases)
I have never heard her say anything about Lyme specifically, but then, I have not watched Montel since they changed the time it is on here, so I may have missed it.
