I am going crazy - the last week or so I've had these weird, hard to describe feelings...it started with a headache. Kind of like the feeling you get after a massage as things are flushed out. It has progressed into everything tasting and smelling like synthetic chemicals.

Has anyone experienced this?? What does this mean?? It is absolutely repulsive and I don't know what to do. Please help!

Hmm, yuck. I had this kind of sensation when I was really sick and was beginning to have MCS multiple chemical sensitivities. All of a sudden I could semll & taste EXTRA sensory when it came to anything chemical. I smelled the chemical in everything. Then it actually calmed down a little excepting if I smelled something really chemically like soap or detergent or perfume I would turn pale, sweat and vomit convulsively (oh that sucked Lyme sucks sucks sucks!!!).

It went away 100% with Iv Rocephin.

I hope for you it is a transitory sensation and not the onset of MCS!!!!

Have you been tested for Mercury?? It sounds like some of the symptoms. They say headaches and a metallic taste in the mouth are a few of the effects.
