This is why I am hoping to be going to Boston... (see site below). I can't even imagine this happening... and I've wanted to see the location where this happened for years. Guess I am weird?

Nah... not ME!!! HA!

The Boston Molasses Disaster:

But do note there will be 2 conferences there designed to bring you updated medical information.

Details can be found at the sites below.

Lyme Disease Association:

ILADS:

Are YOU planning to go?

Isn't it right that you cannot attend the ILADS conference if you are not a medical professional? I was hoping to be able to go to one of them but from reading the website it seems I don't qualify - am I wrong?

I live close to Boston, but it seems that a veteran person should go....If no one can make it and I am better I could go. Melissa

I plan to go if my health is good enough - will register before the Sept. 15 pre-reg deadline if I'm feeling okay then.

I have a Ph.D. in Mol. Biol., used to work in biotech, so I'm assuming they'll let me attend, they say phd's in fields related to public health are welcome.

It says all ILADS members are welcome - I'll go see what the req's are to join ILADS.

I wonder if being a veterinary technician is good enough? Probably not. I could get letter from my medical director.
