You know, it's funny that you mention that... I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago...
Before I realized that it was Lyme that was causing my problems, I was put on Keflex by my PCP for an ear infection (I think it was..)
About an hour after taking the first pill, I started feeling really dizzy and weak and somewhat queasy..
I didn't take anymore of them and just thought that I was maybe allergic to it... (Though I have never been know to be allergic to any meds)
Back then, I had no clue was a herx was, because I didn't even know what my illness was...
I just knew that there was no way that I should be getting that many "infections" and that something was seriously wrong...though no docs found a thing.
Now that I know, I am pretty sure that's what was happening to me...herxing..
As soon as I realized that I had Lyme and read my first definition of herxing, my thoughts immediately went back to the Keflex.
I also had it happen with another one, though the name escapes me right now.. But those are the only 2..

My herx from Keflex was intense. At first It thought I might be having a reaction, but now I see that it must have been targeting my lyme.
I am going to see my llmd Friday and I will see what he says.
