I talked to my Dr's office Monday and the nurse said it looks my lyme came back positive. She said they were waiting for some other stuff to come back. I had my blood drawn at Labcorp on July 5th (3 weeks ago now). I am getting a little ancy now. I called the nurse again to ask what could be taking so long and she said that some of these things are sent to California and it can take about 3 weeks. They were testing me for Lyme PCR, Rhuematoid Factor, ANA, and a couple other things I can't remember. Everything except the Lyme came back normal.
Is it normal to take this long? What other tests could be being done to confirm the lyme? Is Labcorp reliable? What significance does California have on where the tests are being done?
I know I have heard references to labs in CA.
Thanks and sorry for all the questions.
Tara
