I was treated by an LLMD back in 2001 and am now having problems again. My doctor did a series of tests and here are the results:

Lyme Disease PCR - No B. Burgdorferi DNA Detected

Lyme, Total Ab Test/Reflex (Positive)
Lyme IgG/IgM Ab 1.30 High

Lyme AB IGG By WB: (Negative)
P93 Absent
P66 Present
P58 Absent
P45 Absent
P41 Absent
P39 Absent
P30 Absent
P28 Absent
P23 Present
P18 Absent

Lyme Ab IgM By WB: (Positive)

P41 Present
P39 absent
P23 Present

Anyone have insight into this. What does this mean? Is this a new infection or a relapse? I also looked back at my Journal from 2000 and I tested positive for these same exact bands back then on both the IgG & IgM. Is that strange????

Thanks, Tara

I have been waiting for these results since the blood was drawn on 7/5/07. Now I am just waiting for my doctor to call me back.

I'm certainly no expert here but seems your test results may indicate a NEW infection or old symptoms coming back. At least you know the drill...get on those antibiotics quick.

Please update your post and let me (us) know what the doctor says.

Yes, I still have my LLMD, I actually made an appointment with him for the Aug 15th as soon as I got my results back. My PCP still hasn't called me to discuss. I know they will probably start me on the "normal" antibiotics and that will at least get things started until I see my LLMD.
