Hi, I'm needing help to figure out what may have

happened to me connected possibly with Ketek.

Last week I was diagnosed with reactive

hypoglycemia, but have had symptoms for several

months. I had taken Ketek back in the fall of

2006 for about six weeks. I remember at the time

feeling very changed in my moods and feeling a

flushing in my face. I stopped after feeling too

bad. I felt at the time it was some hormonal

change. Right now I'm trying to find out if

there is a connection with the Ketek and the

hypoglycemia and if so what it is that needs to

be done. I could be way off here, but I'm

needing to find some answers. Right now my

doctor is treating me with rocephin. She thinks

there is something wrong with the pancreas.

I hope that someone can give me any inkling of

ideas to help me understand what may be

happening. Thanks!

There are legal suits alleging Ketek caused either

Hyper or hypoglycemia. So there is a link there.

I am having hypoglycemia issues, but that is related to adrenal fatigue for me (low cortisol).

That may be something else you get checked for.

Hope this helps.

Hugs,

Geneal

Thank you for letting me know about this. I'm

sorry you are having problems with hypoglycemia

as well and hope they can clear things up soon.

I tried to look up any information about Ketek

and hypoglycemia on the web but couldn't find

it. Do you know where I could locate something

that I could show my doctor? Thanks
