This is my 10th(?) week on Malarone and I've noticed that my lower back pain is easing and the sweats are less often and less severe and I'm sleeping better, but I have noticed that my teeth are more sensitive.
Temperature and texture of food can make them "vibrate" with pain.
Anybody else?
Malarone is all I'm doing differently so I'm curious.

The only other things I'm taking are allicin, mag citrate, Vit D, acidophilus, and sometimes chlorella.
I was on the full complement of Dr. Z's herbs but stopped everything but the allicin.

I'm on Mepron and have extremely sensitive teeth ... I'm using Sensodyne and it helps a lot.
I wear braces (final stage of TMJ treatment), so I had attributed the sensitivity to them, but maybe it is from the Mepron.

WOW, I am on Mepron and have been having teeth sensitivity problems as well. I just thought I had put off my cleaning a month or 2 to long.
Maybe there is a connection here..Have to ask my Dr. about this when I see him Monday.

Oh my, sensitive teeth???? Yeah! I have been on Mepron for almost 3 months. I complained to my dentist that my teeth are killing me. She did a thorough exam and said, "brush with Sensodyne".
I guess it just goes with the territory. Isn't treating Babs fun?
I also just posted some general info on Titanium. Maybe do some research on fluoride and the effects on our pineal gland.
All are directly absorbed by the mucosa.
Take care.

Gigi, I used non-flouride toothpastes from the health food store right up till I had this intense tooth pain. I hate using this stuff ... I've been anti-flouride for years ... but I can't eat or drink without it.
If you know of a healthier toothpaste that gives the same results, please share.

I don't know about malarone, but I'm on minocycline and quinine, and I'm not sure which one is doing it, but my tongue turned BLACK.
My teeth are also transparent as you get farther away from the gumline and closer to the tips. They have a gray tint to them.
I have a metallic taste in my mouth, too, and nerve pain in all of the roots of my teeth. They are extremely sensitive.
One of my earlier symptoms was that when I was so weak, I had taken an iron pill thinking I was anemic, and I had diarrhea worse than ever.
The doc was confused because iron usually is responsible for constipation, not diarrhea.
Coincidentally, I was put on prescription iron following my hysterectomy in 2001 by a family doctor. My red count was normal, but my iron stores were low.
In any respect, I wonder if it's the iron being released when the babs is killed that causes the sensitivity. It feels like my teeth are being electrocuted.
