I know rashes can be any form. I was bit on my right leg by a large tick over a month ago.

THen, I developed a rash under my left armpit (closer to my bra line/on my trunk) 28 or 30 days later.

Went to four doctors - all said either poison ivy or dermatitis -
The rash looks like scratch marks - long lines.

If you ever had shingles, it feels like that- but for the most part, it doesn't bother me a whole lot.

Qs:
How long does a lyme rash stay
if it were a lyme rash what works on it to decrease it
do lyme rashes change form or stay the same
Does the rash come with other symptoms?

Hi....Get a picture - u may need it in the future...

Don't know how long they usually last - mine lasted several weeks; for the 1st 2 weeks it got bigger & redder - then started to go away slowly. Itched like crazy! Stupid GP gave me steroid cream 4 it & at that time I didn't know that was a VERY BAD idea, so I used it. BIG MISTAKE... So, if u shoud be given any steroid cream - don't fill the RX. Can't explain the science behind it - but it's like putting miracle grow on it....

My daughter's rash was just a small one over her eye - like she had a spider bite over night - (tick bite was on hip)the next morning... Then 4 days later rash appeared at bite site, & only stayed 2 or 3 days. This time I knew to get a picture.

BTW - neither of ours were the "bulls eye" the media likes to put out there....so don't buy that 1 either.

Hope this helps.
