Hello to all.

Quick question today.

Has Ceftin worked for anyone. LLMD put me on it after IV Rocephin. I have read that it is better for early Lyme. Since I have had this for 11 years I am wondering if it is best med for me at this point.

I think I am having a mighty herx from it. Have been pretty ill for last 2 weeks.

Low fevers mid afternoon, joint pain, headaches, vertigo, feeling out of it.

Any others tryed this.

I have moved on from Ceftin and now to Rocephin IV. The Ceftin helped some...

I had a 14 year span between bite and treatment. I have been on Ceftin for most of my 2 years of treatment.

I have added in others antibiotics at times. Ceftin is one of the few I can tolerate except for Levaquin.

I have had a slow but steady improvement. I am about 60% of normal. Somedays I feel almost normal (few).

Hope it works for you. It does cause nasty herxes, though! Also, dont forget your probiotics. It causes wicked yeast problems.
