As if having this disease wasn't bad enough, I have a terrible time in moldy environments. Actually, I can't tolerate any type of mold or chemical smell. Will this go away after treatment? I have moved so many times already! Has anyone else had this experience or know why it occurs? I am familiar with neurotoxin philosophy as in Mold Warriors (the book).

I have this very bad now and I live in a house that has mold. Not visible mold, but Its under the wood by the front door and on the porch. Still it comes in and bothers me to HELL!!

I get really dizzy and have post nasal drip whenever im in this house. Its very depressing.

It never used to bother me that much maybe 5 years ago. Something happened after the doc put me on antibiotics for lyme. Im thinking now its candida that doing this cause the Lyme now tests neg through IGINEX. But mycoplasma came up. UHHH

I hate mold. But its not just the mold, its perfume and construction new smells. New cars are terrible. So Im with you. Nothing I found has improved it. Just trying to wipe out the yeast now and replenish the good bacteria.

This is a person who would bath in perfume/cologne and smells. If there was a moldy smell I would just empty a can of Glade.

Imagine that!

Im now hitting my intestines hard with increased probiotics.

I realized that all the yeast Im killing is probablly leaving a void. Increased probiotics will help.

I read somewhere that the beneficial bacteria also produce Hydrogen Peroxide which kills yeast and also digests some toxins there too!

Oh boy, I hope I get infected big time with the big guys and a little mold wont be any match!!!

Just a heads up: new construction smells, new car smells, and many perfume smells are accompanied by formaldehyde, and this is what many chemically sensitive people are reacting to. You can confirm this by exposing yourself to new furniture (with new foam and particleboard), new carpeting, and big stores that contain lots of these products or new clothes. If you have the same reaction, it's formaldehyde that's causing it. There are many things you can do to reduce your exposure to formaldehyde, which can be almost omnipresent in homes and other buildings. It's important to do what you can to clean it out of your living space, because it will really make your illness worse in a hurry.

Squash said that he was reacting to mold/chemical smells, and I too react this way to both. Mold is abit worse. Maybee it would take 170%-190% concentration of Formalydihyde in the air for me to react where with mold it would be 102%.

I still think its related to Candida and toxin overload and when I improve ill be a sucess story here. It takes

A perfect diet!
Kill the yeast with anti-fungals
Detox products

then see how you feel after 2 months. No cheating.

Pray for me that this time next year I am out of this moldy house.

I cant take it anymore. Im ready to bite the bullet and live on little to no money for 1 mold free apartment rather then suffer in this house!!!

By the way, I still react to new construction smell. I was at a car dealer yesterday and got a headache, walking around the mall was not easy either.

Damn this MCS disease. Taking welchol now.

Maybee Ill take some more Zyrtec too even though it does nothing.

This was the very first sx of life in early 70's,,,and lyme sx didnt show up till early 90's or maybe late 80's.

here is MY story on formaldahyde. When first married (early 70's)we looked at alot of mobile homes to buy,,,thought that was the way to go,,,summer time and they were all closed up and HOT!!

I couldnt stand to walk half way thru them before my eyes were burning SOOOO BAD I had to stick my head outside to get fresh air.

The concentration of formaldahyde was extrememly high inside those things.

After that even NEW carpet smelled funny. But always went away!! Lucky I decided NOT to buy a mobile home,,,probably based on that experience!!

fast forward to late 80's and I worked at an office that had a crawl space tunnel filled with filth, mold , water, and molds, bugs and other creepy things,,,

and THIS tunnel was the cold air return to the furnace. I can stand ALOT of filth,,but this was WAAAAAY over the top!!

Whenever this furnace kicked on first time in fall,,,yikes it WAS bad,,made me so sick. Same way when they turned air on first time.in spring!!

And the more it ran the sicker I got,,,secretary always commented how fast I could go from looking good(well NOT that good)(but healthy I guess) to hardly being able to hold head off the desk, sick as a dog.

never thought of it at the time,,,but sure it correlated to furnace cycles!! Other people were in different area and different furnace system,,hey never had same sxs.

Other persons officed there must have been more tolerate of it,,,and they were NOT there fully over half the time,,,I was there morning noon and night!!

About same instance that I didnt work there anymore I moved into this house with water standing in low land basement 10-20 percent of the time,,,rest of the time always damp,,,doesnt that sound like a MOLD place to YOU???

And constantly around other mold and organic dust. When I walk inside a building that smells heavily of mice etc. it plugs my nose and makes me sick.

Once worked inside of one of those for 2 weeks,,,every day it got worse,,,every day after got done in there it got better

Even working in a building that has alot of dust, cat and mouse dander,,I have whooping headache from just walking around in there all day!!Stirring up the dust and dander.

I cant wait to see IF moving from here to a clean house in town would HELP me feel better!!

I am thinking of doing as groovy 2 did and jerk every carpet out of that house,,,carpets are DIRTY dust catchers.

I could get by with just throw rugs on hardwood floors,,,dont know WHICH would be easier for a NON domestic engineer to keep clean!!(those neanderthal men ya know)

AND most importantly NEVER any animals inside the house!! They are both tick magnets and dander scattering machines!!

What are the sxs of mold toxic body??? could it be???wondering--just don--

Wow, those are the symptoms that I get. Plugged up swollen nose, post nasal drip, burning eyes.

It comes and goes when I am in the house. I even get muscle aches.

The thing is it didnt bother me half as much 5 years ago, but once we started treating the lyme I had all these terrible symptoms begin.

The worst part about it is I have to sleep there.
I think that my body is just toxic and I dont know the best way to detox.

Even the mats in the sauna bother me.

Oh the humanity.
