I might have been bitten again and I am already sick with lyme and babesia...
I found a small black thing which I thought was a little scab, so I scratched it off but I had to do some hard scratching to get it off. It all came off and whan I had it in my hand it seemed to have 2 or 3 legs (maybe the rest came off, it was super tiny and didn't move. When I passed it to my hubby for him to check what it was, if fell in the garden, no way to retrieve it. Moral I am not sure it was a tick, because it was motionless, but it had the horrible shape of one.
If you are already on abx is it bad? Souldn't the bacteria die immediatly at the site when the abx reached them?

Call your LLMD immediately. If you are on abx that targets Lyme, then I would assume it would kill any transmission of the Lyme. But you want to be aware of co-infections as well.

Seewater, sorry to hear that.
I hope it was NOT a tick!
Yes, co-infections are the main problem. Second main problem is that borrelia get so aggressive when they just enter the body again, so the amount of killers have to be stronger than for chronic cases.
Not a medical opinion of course, just own experience!!! I was on borrelia killers (herbs) and doing great before reinfection. It didn't prevent me to have arthritis back in one day as well as night sweats, both were long gone and re-emerged like 'magic'.
Black magic!!
I do hope it's not re-infection! It's been more than 3 months since my new tick bite and I'm still not totally well, not as I was before the bite. Re-infection with babesia is the main responsible for that.
