Anyone taking L Glutamine could you tell me who much you take each day?

The dose on the bottle says 1 500 mg tablet a day but I've read online of ppl taking 5-10 grams daily.

My L-glutamine dosage is 4.5 grams daily, but after a few days at that dose, my body aches and my head starts to feel like a huge pimple about to explode.

From what I've read, dosages over 5 grams daily is where you can start to convert glutamine to glutamate, and you do NOT want to do that. We are toxic enough already.

I find I handle half of that dose better. I also take it at 4 am, so it is far away from my meals. You do not want an excess of one amino acid to imbalance your other aminos.

Don't forget to take 600 mgs. NAC daily with a meal, and at least 160 mgs of vitamin C daily, when taking the L-glutamine in order for it to work best.

Good luck,
Klutzo
