In more of my research into Arteminisin I came across a study looking at changes in bioavailability of Art depending on whether you take it with food or not. Here is the abstract:

I don't know about anyone else, but it's a relief to me to have one of these I don't have to worry about fasting for an hour after I take it!

Dr. Z told me it's better empty, but can be taken with food.

Hi Susan. That's why I posted this link because the bottle says to take it on an empty stomach, and the general culture seems to say to take it on an empty stomach, but this study clearly shows at least that if you take it with breakfast it makes no difference. Dr Zhang may be an exception, but I know most docs just tell their patients to do what the pharmaceutical/supplement companies tell them. What I'm going to do is email ARG with a link to the study and ask why their directions say to take it on an empty stomach, if they have conflicting research to back up that position.
