I have developed a new symptom, I have 2 cysts on my face, below my left eye, its hard, but not painful. It's been about 2 weeks now, I thought with abx treatment, it would start going away. No sign yet.Anyone experience this sort of thing?

Have come across some information on cystic acne lately, but I am not sure if this is what you have. How small/large are the cysts?

My daughter started getting acne at puberty. During the course of my research lately, mites have popped up as a possible culprit with skin issues, including cystic acne. They can also carry some of the illnesses we suffer from.

Since this is still fairly new, I don't know exactly how plausible it actually is. And I am sure there are many other things that can cause cysts. But if you would like more info regarding some of the research feel free to send a PM.

I get cysts on my chin pretty regularly, but they're the size of a grain of sand ... just a small bump. After several months, they usually come out. I guess this would be better described as cystic acne.

Hi cmty,
As a matter of fact I have these-- have had them for a very long time and I thought it was because I was allergic to dairy.
It isn't. (long story) NOW I think it is bartonella.

They are not like a pimples/acne. They are red, cycstic, hurt,
itch, bleed. Sometimes they form a circle around my mouth-
jaw to upper lip. They are very weird. Also, more prevalent
around my period, whereupon I herx more as well.
I'm glad you brought this up-- I've wondered for so long and
had suspected that it's tick related.
I have other skin stuff too, aside from being ashen.

What do you think?
Do you have other rashes? What kind?
Hope this helps.

Yes. I have 1 on my hip. Curiously, it appeared about same time my LD symptoms began=3 years ago.

Over past 3/4 months, the "cyst" has become harder and I think larger. LLMD said get it removed by a plastic surgeon b/c I have had some strange skin symptoms over past 2 years. Surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday.

Surgeon evalusted me 2 days ago & called it a "subcutaneous mass" rather than a cyst.

Dr B, in his treatment guidelines, said have all skin growths tested by pathology for spirocheetes. I intend to ask for the pathologist to do just that in addition to whatever other tests they perform.
