Hi All

I am feelin Perty Good --

I just got hired on to a film crew
for a movie called Mars --

I am going to be the Boom man -
that is the guy who holds a microphone
close to the actors on the end of a long pole-

It is the Hardest physical job on the set-

It Looks Easy but it is not--
(try holding a big broom over your head
Very still for 10 minutes-
you will see what I mean ) OucH

I am lifting weights for the next week to
get in better shape for it--

The shoot is at Austin Studios and it
is about a 3 mile ride on my bicycle to
get there-

I knew I moved to my house
for a reason 12 yrs ago-
I just did not know what the reason was-
I sure got Lucky to be so close to the new
studios --

The shoot is at night from 6pm to 5am
6 days a week--

I guess having Insomnia is lucky
for me too - LOL

The job dose not pay much but I will get
my foot in the door over at the
Austin Studios -

I am tell you all this just to show you
that You Can Get Well and have a
Life after Lyme -

Just 2 yrs ago I could barley walk and
thought about doing myself in Daily --

Get well again was Not Easy and was
Sure No Fun --
But if I can Do It- You Can Too --

Take Care -- Jay --

Hi All

Well I just finished my first night on the set-
5 pm to 4 am--My feet are killing me--

The movie is about some kind of outer space something-- All on Green screen

The crew of about 25 people are real nice-
I was worried that I was not in good enough
shape to do it but I did Fine --

I did sweat like a pig tho - it was hot --
the set was lite with florescent lighting
so it was not super hot --Ahha

See you at the movies--Jay--

Hi All-

I just finished my 4th night shoot-
5pm to 5 AM--

So far I have been able to what they want-
most of the scenes have been short -

The Crew and Actors have been Top Notch --

The Director is Awesome -
He has the Best Memory of Any person
I have ever met--

You tell him Any thing and he remembers it-
He is a Movie Making machine --

The movie is ALL shot on Green Screen--

EVERYTHING is green - ALL props- chairs -
desks --

Only the Actors are Not Green --

They add in ALL back grounds are
after the shoot --

I have No Idea what the Final Movie
is going to Look Like --

But I do know that it is going to WILD -

-- Jay --

Hi All-

I just finished night 9 of a 21 night shoot-

I am in the Groove now -
so its not to hard anymore --

I couple of crew said -
How do you hold the Boom so long with a
Big Smile on your face --

After going threw lyme Herxes --
Everything else is EASY by comparison -
I'm Serious --

Last night I got ZERO sleep -
So I was a little Dingy today --

I got more sleep meds today so Im
going to sleep good tonight -

Today on the way to the shoot in 5pm traffic -
A Really Shiittteee driver would have
run me over with his car if I had not been
watching Every Car --

Im Lucky I have extria eyes in the back
of my head --

I cought a cold from somebody in the crew
but it was only bad for one day-
I am Good Now --

The crew is Top Notch--Movie making Machine--

The last few nights some of the actors
have been hung form a Sling to
float them around the scene -

The food on set is Very Good and Healthy-
Lots of Veggies and good things -
no pizza -

We break for dinner at 11pm --
It is perfect for me -

Thats the time I usually get hungry -

The crew has- Breakfast- at 5pm when
we show to the shoot --
So I dont have to buy Any grocery's
for 3 weeks --

This shoot so far has been a Lot of Fun -
I was Very lucky to have gotten this crew

It may be Good that I got the Boom job-
it is giving me some good exorcise --

We are using Florance Lighting -
so lighting and shooting are Fast -

I am in Most of the scenes but I am going to
to be 100% on the Cutting Room Floor-LOL

Everybody on the crew owns Mac computers -
Not a PC Anywhere --

The Mac that is capturing the video
Is Super Nice -- not one glitch -

I am going to sleep now-

See You at the Movies -- Jay --

HI All--

Well I have been sleeping sense the movie ended Friday morning --

I am still sleepy and but
overall I feel Perty Good -

My bike ride to the shoot was about
4 miles each ways about 128 miles total
-not 75 miles each day-LOL

Saturday night I was going to ride the
Annual Moon light bike ride(45 miles)
but it was raining and I was Really
to Pooped to ride it so
I stayed home and slept --OucH

I will ride it next year --

I am telling you all this because I had
Lyme and Babs for 18 yrs untreated -
and I was very sick and close to death-

Now after about 3 yrs of Proper Treatment-
I feel Perty Good most of the time and am
95% symptom and pain free --

Getting well again was Not Easy and No Fun-
and dose take along time --

But if I can do it -You Can Too --

Im going back to sleep--Jay--
