Has anyone tried the Diflucan method described by Dr. Fritz Schardt in his interview with Jill Neimark? It is Diflucan for 200 mg/day for 50 days followed by 20-30 days of a Penicillin.

I've done the Schardt protocal twice and you are correct it is for 200 mg a day of Diflucan for 50 days and then followed up with 20 days of Penicillin.

I did the protocal after my second round of Rocephin and took Tindamax with it two weeks on two weeks off. I believe it helped but discovered a co-infection at that time I cannot be 100% certain.

I did a month of Diflucan, and then 5 or 6 months later, another month. (That was back in the dark ages when I was only doing antibiotics alone, before i discovered herbal accompaniments.)

So compared to my other lone antibiotics treatments, the Diflucan was more effective: I was able to work 5 hours a day instead of 3.

The problem is about safety. (I don't know if there have been any more safety studies since then.)

At that time there had been only two studies on rats, each for only one month duration (since its label use is not long-term, i think.)

In one study, there were no effects on the rats, but in the other study, there were nodules on the livers, after one month of Diflucan. So it had never been tested for more than one month of use.

After the second month, I felt uneasy and felt there were some possible urinary symptoms, and I didn't want to take any more ever.

Shot my adrenals - was only after this happened I was told a side affect is that it should not e taken if you have poor adrenal function. Endo says he now puts this on litrature from his clinic as he sees it all the time.

Go for it! It was the only product that worked for me.
