I was recently diagnosed with Babs and Ehrlic,I have seen my Lyme Dr who is wonderful. I attempted to work and was really tired and achey, called him and went to see him, he told me I was really sick and to stay home for 2 weeks. I am taking Mepron and Doxy but had a rough couple of days, he told me to stop meds and I see him tomorrow. Last night was absolutely horrible, not like any of my other nights have been great. Horrible feelings in legs and arms and whole body. Am supposed to go back to work on Monday but I don't know. How long do you or can you stay out of work. I couldn't even make egg salad the other day I was so tired. I know I am rambling. Anyhow I need some input and advice. To look at me I look healthy but I feel horrible.

My boss is in town this week from CA. When she saw me yesterday, she said "you look great, how is it that your'e supposedly so sick". That is what I hate most about this disease. I looked at her and said "please don't ask me about my health anymore".

You do what you have to in order to get yourself better, if that means taking more time from work then so be it. Because it the long run it will benefit you more than if you try to push yourself now. I'm sure the others here will agree with me. If I had addressed my health 2 or 3 years ago when things started getting really bad, maybe I wouldn't be in this situation now. Instead I kept cancelling doc appts because I was too busy with work.
