I am confused, should I order the "inital" Lyme panel (5001, 5010) serum or whole blood or the "basic" Lyme panel (4090) via Ignex? This is for inital testing for my kids. Thank you! -------------------- Texas

I had my children tested via Igenex tests 188 and 189 respectively. My husband and neighbors were all tested with this basic Western Blot IgM and IgG panel. BTW, if you test 3 or more family members at one time, Igenex will give you a 15% discount. They have to be tested within two weeks of each other. My neighbor's (RN's) had some numbing cream that we put on the children's arms about one hour Prior to having blood taken. They didn't feel a thing. Hugs, Geneal
