I took my daughter to ID doc today and I think I came out angrier about his reaction to her then I am about her disease
I gave him some material that I found on the web and asked him to at least research it - Then he came back in with his little red "Bible" on Pediatrics ID's and I handed him my big red "Bible" (3 ring binder) on the stuff that I had gathered over the weekend.
He gave me some stuff to look over from IDSA. From what I understand - He will not treat outside of those guidelines in fear of a malpractice suite.
Looks like I need to head out of town for this one - Does anyone know of a LLMD in Duluth MN - a friend of Dad's is being treated for LD but has been diagnosed with Lou Garigs (sp?) disease. But his doc says symptoms resemble LD that they want to treat for that to pacify him for now.
Thanks for all the valuable information everyone has posted on her and to my private mail. I still have sooooo..... much to learn,

WELL I guess I lied to myself,,you still have LOTS of options,,,just how far in what direction you wanna travel.
It IS worth traveling to the end of the earth to get the RIGHT treatment!!

Igenex is a good lab but there are many reasons why you can still have lyme & test CDC negative from any lab.
Lyme disease still remains a clinical diagnosis.
Good luck to you & I hope you can find a LLMD soon to help you & your family
healing hugs Dana

Go to SUPPORT GROUPS found in left-hand column, by country, then by state! Check 1st page to see where the various groups are located for your state. CLICK on link closest to you.
Read carefully if support group leader wants you to call them or EMAIL! Many are very sick themselves; so be patient in getting a response from them. Thanks!
SUPPORT GROUPS .... LYME FOR ``YOUR'' STATE! See below!! 8-j9-07
You might be interested in joining IowaLyme (or whatever state they are in) and then give the URL which is http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/iowalyme or whatever state they are in!
All are set up the same way with the state name and lyme run together as one word, except for 4 states which have a hyphen between the statename and lyme, e.g. southcarolina-lyme. Those states are SC, WY, ND, SD.
These were set up by Calif. Phyllis Mervine, s.g. leader; thx Phyllis!
