I have been reading about the health benefits of mangosteen and would like to try it.

I noticed that the Xango and other brands are a blend of mangosteen and other juices such as cherry, blueberry etc.

I have found one brand by "Source Naturals" that looks to be mostly Mangosteen. Wouldn't that be better?

The other juices in XAngo are minimal and are there to help with the flavor.

For every ONE bottle of the copycat mangosteen products sold, Xango sells 687 bottles.

This is the PREMIER mangosteen product. Accept no substitutes.

I was considering "Source Naturals" brand because our local health store carries this brand. The owner of of this store has 20+ years running this store and is a walking encyclopedia on health and nutrition. She also is careful to buy products from reputable companies.

Here are the listed ingredients: (Copied from a website that carries it. )

Proprietary Mangosteen Tonic Blend:
680 mg Mangosteen Fruit Rind Extract (XanoMax standardized to 25% flavonoids and 10% mangostins providing 28 mg of xanthones per ounce),

Eleuthero Rhizome Extract (0.8% eleutherosides),

Astragalus Root Extract (12:1),

Schisandra Fruit and Seed Extract (10:1),

and Tumeric Root.

Other Ingredients: purified water, fructose, natural flavors, potassium sorbate, potassium benzoate, and xanthan gum.

An extract is not the same as the whole fruit.

Cave....check the websites. There's nothing for sale there.

Health food stores are not allowed to carry the BEST one.

I'm open to learning more about this.

Of the Xango brand - what % is Mangosteen?

In what ways is it different from other brands?

I'd be happy to educate you, but perhaps we should continue this in emails?

As for the percentage....roughly 80%.
