Hi- has anyone else had this as a result of lyme? Or been diagnosed with CVID as well?
(common variable immunodeficiency)Just wondering if any correlation and/or if this is a factor on why I can't get well yet?
Thanks
Natalie

My doctor recently tested me for immunoglobulin levels. She was thinking that I may have low levels and this would be why I was not getting significantly better on antibiotics. She said that some patients are having positive results with gammaglobulin injections. I didn't have abnormal levels, so I'm still searching...but this is probably the reason why you are not getting better. Antibiotics only do some of the job of killing the bacteria. The proper funcioning of the immune system is vital in knocking out the remainder of the disease. You should definately explore this further.
