I made it there Do you see me. I'm the little blond, walking with a cane and wearing lyme green pants a shirt that says, Lyme Disease Sucks The Life Out Of You.
What a heartfelt day, I had tears in my eyes the whole time.
I will post more on General when I get some energy back.
Take care your friend Cassie

Yes! I was there too, with my daughters who have Lyme.
I think this webshot was taken a little before everyone arrived - there were definitely more people than this.
We all stood shoulder to shoulder to form our "Wall of Hope" and we had a minute of silence to honour those who have lost their lives to Lyme. Sadly, we had a Canadian Lyme victim pass away the morning of the event.
The evening event was dinner with our very own LLMD Dr. M, Jim Wilson, President of the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation, and Dr. Cameron, a special guest speaker.
The event was a big success and was shown on the news. We have some really good momentum going from this event and we hope to gain some ground from this. We did get the attention of a certain government department who has requested more information.
We even had Parliament security guards buying our good looking t-shirts! And many visitors to Parliament Hill stopped to ask us questions.
More info and some pictures can be seen on the homepage of Canlyme - www.canlyme.com
Those are my daughters holding the banner!
