The following are all the meds I am taking and they are all oral.
For Lyme: I am taking Amoxicillin and Flagyl antibiotics. I am also taking Florastor probiotic and was told by my LLMD after I was done with the Florastor to take threelac proboitic instead.
For Candida: I am taking Nystatin.
For Human Herpes Virus 6: I am taking Valtrex
With Amoxicillin and Flagyl oral should I take more than one probiotic? Any recommendations on probiotics? Is all probiotics supplements or are there prescriptions?
I am OK with all the meds I am taking and I feel fine, just wondering if I am getting enough of probiotic to protect myself/stomach etc...
Please let me know and Thanks for any Help,
Rob

Rob, the probiotics you're taking are fine. Might want to add a garlic-based allicin extract like Allimax or Allicidin which lowers yeast and works as a good natural anti-bacterial/fungal/viral.

Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar was good for me and it got rid of my yeast infection as well as replenishing the good bacteria/enzymes. I do the drink where you mix a tsp. of ACV with a tsp. of a good organic Raw Honey, mix with a cup of water and sip it all day or drink it down at once (I sip).
The raw honey also replenishes enzymes & good bacteria, and in my experience that has been more important than the negativity of ingesting sugar which feeds yeast. In any case, it worked for me PLUS I felt more energetic once I started taking that tonic.
There are also yoghurt and kefir to add to your regimen, if you like them. You can swoosh those around in your mouth to help keep your mouth healthy.
Probiotics are not protecting your stomach - they are replenishing the good bacteria/flora in your gut. If you have a local health food store, go in and ask what they have & what they like, just to get some ideas.
You might also research which nutrients (vitamins) are made in the gut and hence destroyed by ABX - offhand, I think it is some of the B's and vit. K.
Whatever your LLMD recommended should be just fine - there are many choices out there and people have their favorites. Search the subject here on LymeNet.
